The course is focused on the general basics of visual arts. During the course, students are introduced to various artistic techniques and themes. They learn to recognize the basics of painting, composition, color, drawing. At the same time, we talk about the history of fine art from its beginnings to the present day. The course is intended especially for complete beginners.
The main purpose of the course is to teach students to work with lines and colors completely relaxed and with pure pleasure from creation.
Together we will dive into the world of magic, colors and shapes!
Other important topics will be:
- Composition – principles for composing an image.
- Surface and structure – expression of different materials.
- Motif and choice of subject – questions of choosing one’s own picture subject.
- Light and shadow – expressed in painting.
- Space – building space with graduated colors in oil or acrylic technique.
What to take with you?
You don’t need to bring anything for the first lesson.
All art material is ready for you in the atelier.
During the first lesson, the lecturer will explain in detail what you will need for the course.

The price of the course is CZK 5,400. (It’s 8 lessons. 1 lesson = 180 minutes).
